The german photographer is back to Italy with an exhibition that brings together three of her most recent works.

For Jessica Backhaus photography is a way of moving inside her own existence, redrawing its borders and sometimes even redefining some of its main features. The transfer to a new sudio, the search of the biological father, the friendship with Gisèle Freund, for the german photographer every step into space and time is a step towards herself, and becomes a chance to reflect on the image’s communicative (and identificative) power through a necessary visual synthesis.
