Dina Wind Art Foundation In Conversation: Louise Nevelson & Dina Wind, Abstraction & Assemblage

On June 11, 2022, Sculpture Magazine and the International Sculpture Center partnered with the Louise Nevelson Foundation and the Dina Wind Art Foundation to present In Conversation: Louise Nevelson & Dina Wind, Abstraction & Assemblage. The talk was moderated by Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Contemporary Curator Erica Battle, and featured a dialogue between Nevelson’s granddaughter Maria Nevelson and Wind’s son John Wind, each also the president of their respective foundations.

The conversation was held in the art-filled home Dina and Jerry shared for many years, with significant works by both Nevelson and Wind in their collection. Jerry Wind also offered his own brief reflections on his wife’s practice, their art collecting, and their Nevelson works in particular.
